How Old Are You ?
I think I am just over three years old now.

Why are you called Godfrey Bird ?
Well when I first arrived I was called Jonathan, then my name was
changed to Little Bird & now it is Godfrey Bird. Named
after my human mummys, dad who died last year whom was called
Godfrey.

Why did your human choose you from all the other
budgies ?
Well appart from the fact that I am a handsome budgie hehe
When she first met me I was in the pet shop, all my friends in the
cage were tweeting away as they always do. And I came up with
the plan that if I showed off in front of people they would decide
to choose me. I wasn't sure quite what it was I was going to
do, and then my human mummy to be walked in and came over to see
us. So I started doing back flips of the side of my cage,
mummy thought it was very funny and decided to have me. Hehe
my plan worked ! And now I don't do my back flips anymore.
Mummy has asked me why I don't do them, but I have found better ways
to show off and get attention now, I used to like shouting at Denzel,
or push Denzel off his swing hehe. But now I just shout as
loud as I can, or push stuff from my cage on to the floor that's
great fun especially when the humans are Hoovering or have just
Hoovered hehe |

Do
you miss Denzel ?
Yes he was my best friend, and now he
has gone I haven't got anyone to push around, the humans have got me
a weird little plastic bird to sit in my cage with me, but he isn't
any fun I can kick it and smack it with my beak, but he still isn't
as much fun as Denzel was.

Do
you have any unusual habits ?
Well if I am being
ignored I will shout as loud as I can hehe, the humans have to
tell me to be quiet especially if they are on the phone hehe

What
do you do when your humans aren't at home ?
Well to keep me from being bored the
humans leave the television on for me, I like listening to the television, especially if its playing music as
I can sing along to
it all day.

Do
the cat's ever try to get you ?
The cat's are all to fat and stupid to try and
get me. My cage is attached to the ceiling, with strong hooks
and rope. And if for any reason the rope broke, I have a
safety rope, so there isn't much chance of the cage going
anywhere. We used to get put in to a different room at night
time, but one of the cat's managed to get into the room with
us. Denzel told everyone that I had planned all this. I
was trying to push Denzel out of the way, but he was getting in such
a fluster that he thought I was pushing him towards the cat.
But I wasn't honestly *Evil Grin*

any nicknames ? Well I also still
get called Little Bird, and G bird
